Quick Fixes for Common Issues
Most download problems are simple and easy to fix. If something isn’t working as expected, run through the steps below before stressing—it’s usually one small thing.
Download Didn’t Start
If nothing happens when you click the download link:
- Try clicking the link again
- Refresh the page and retry
- Disable pop-up blockers (they can block downloads)
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
Can’t Find Your File
This is the #1 issue.
Your file is almost always here:
- Downloads folder on your computer
Quick shortcut:
- Press Ctrl + J (Windows) or Command + Option + L (Mac) to open recent downloads
If you still can’t find it:
- Search your computer for the file name
- Check your browser’s download history
File Won’t Open
This usually means one of two things:
1. Wrong program
- Try opening with a standard app (PDF reader, media player, etc.)
2. File isn’t extracted yet
- If it’s compressed, extract it first (see below)
Need to Extract a File?
If your download is compressed:
Windows:
Right-click → Extract All
Mac:
Double-click the file
A new folder will appear with your actual files inside.
Download Is Slow or Fails
- Check your internet connection
- Pause other downloads or streaming
- Try again after a minute
- Use a different browser if needed
Download Link Expired or Not Working
- Go back to your confirmation page or email
- Try the link again
- If it still doesn’t work, contact us and we’ll resend access
Downloaded on Your Phone?
This can cause issues.
You might experience:
- Files not showing up
- Trouble opening or extracting
- Limited access to storage
Best fix: Re-download on a laptop or desktop.
File Looks Empty or Broken
- Make sure the download fully completed
- Delete the file and download again
- Check inside extracted folders
